Tiffin City Schools, like many public school districts in Ohio, are preparing to give OGT practice tests to qualifying students in the district's digital academy. The OGT practice tests will be given to qualifying students during the months of November and December.

At a school board meeting last week, the academy's director reported the academy had received the first installment of a federal continuation grant totalig $150,000 for operations. Thirty-one students attend the academy. The money will be used to buy additional technology for the labs and a variety of other services.

District officials thanked the academy's director for implementing the important OGT practice tests, saying he and others had used "due diligence" in preparing students for graduation and life beyond graduation.
