Ohio Graduation Test: Practice

My son brought home a book that his school have him to help in knowing what to study for the upcoming OGT. It has a few tips and some examples of the questions on the OGT. He is in the ninth grade and they are getting them prepared for the OGT that they will have to take starting next year.

After looking over the contents of the book I see that the students have to know a lot more than I did when I was high school. I am so glad that my son’s school is doing everything they can to help the students get prepared to take and pass this important test.

The ninth graders also have to take practice tests of the old proficiency tests, this is another means of helping them prepare. The school also has online prep tools that the students use to practice for the OGT. The teachers realize the students need as much practice as possible to ensure passing the test and receiving their diploma. I have always thought I was fairly intelligent and could learn almost any subject and pass it. After looking at all the things that the OGT will recover I know that I too would need lots of practice through online prep tools, practice tests and much more.

My son is a little upset because he has to do all kinds of practice tests and online prep tools at school and then when he comes home I have him do the same a couple times a week. I know however that when he takes and passes the OGT he will be glad he worked so hard.
