Ohio Graduation Test

OGT Practice Test
Give us your opinion about OGT testing.

Ohio school curriculum is getting ready to change again. Ohio is trying to find the best way to prepare Ohio School students for college. The state first measured a student's knowledge with the 9th grade proficiency tests. Now in 2007 students have to pass the Ohio Graduation Test that is given in 10th grade, to determine if they are ready for college and if they want to receive their diploma. The class of 2012 will get the Ohio Core Curriculum which will consist of:

Four years of mathematics, including Algebra II.
Four years of English.
Three years of lab-based science, including physical science and biology and one year of chemistry, physics or higher-level biology.
Three years of social studies.
Two years of either foreign language, fine arts, career-tech, business or technology.

That is another reason why getting ready for The OGT is so important. Not only is it mandatory to pass it but preparing in advance will help students when 2012 comes around and even more is expected. Education is extremely important. It can the key to a successful future. The OGT is going to start in just a few short months. Students all over are Ohio are doing what is needed to help them pass this very important test.
