Ohio Schools Not letting weather get in way of OGT

OGT Practice Test
Give us your opinion about OGT testing.

Ohio schools are being faced with making up calamity days that they used due to bad winter weather such as; below zero temperatures, ice, snow and snow. These days not only need to be made up but it can affect the students that are getting prepared for the upcoming Ohio Graduation Tests. Ohio sophomores, juniors and seniors must take and pass the Ohio Graduation Test in order to graduate.

Officials, teachers and students are now trying to make up for these missed days and also make sure to allow for adequate time to get prepared for the Ohio Graduation Tests. Some are using OGT tools that are available online such as the IQ-ity Learning Suite which allows students the flexibility of studying during snow days.

These tools are great as they allow for continual education. Those such as IQ-ity allow public high school students to receive instruction and learn on the computer in online web-based environment. These will help keep students studying for the OGT.

Also with the flu season upon us school districts are worried about influenza and virus’s also keeping students out of school and administrators are trying to find way’s to handle such situations. This is the first year that it is mandatory for students to pass the OGT and school districts are doing everything to ensure students are fully prepared for the OGT.
