I talked to four high school students today and I asked them what sections of the OGT were they worried about being prepared to pass. They all unanimously agreed it was Math and Science. The OGT Mathematics section has 38 questions, 32 of which that are multiple-choice and, five are short-answer, and one is an extended-response question. Each mathematics question assesses concepts and skills that are related to one of the five major areas of mathematics. Make sure you practice the following types of Math problems as this is what the OGT consists of; Number, Number Sense and Operations; Measurement; Geometry and Spatial Sense; Patterns, Functions and Algebra; and Data Analysis and Probability.
